If you don't think you qualify as a Texas Vet, don't give up!  These guidelines are general guiudelines.  Even if you don't qualify as a Texas Vet, I have many other programs including VA, FHA, and Conventional loans to choose from.  Be sure to call me or drop me an e-mail to discuss which program best suits
you and your family.

Texas Vet Qualifications
Basic
    • Age 18 or older
    • Served on active duty after 16 Sep 1940
    • Served a minimum of 90 days active duty
    • Honorably discharged or currently serving active duty
    • Served in; Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, or the Public Health Service.
    • Plan to use the home as your primary residence
 
Additional
    • Bona fide resident of Texas at the time of submitting application

      • Texas resident when you entered or exited the military OR
      • Texas resident for the past twelve months
      • Active Military (PCSing to Texas or already living in Texas) must file form DD 2658 to change home of residence on LES to Texas.
 
What you need
    • Sales price of the home
    • Purchase Contract (if available)
    • Short-form loan application (link at the top of this page)
    • DD214 form if ex-military
    • Proof of VA rated disability (if exisiting)
    • If active service
      • Statement of service
      • Copy of orders to a Texas base
      • Copy of LES
